Show Rules

Entries are open to members and non-members of the Poultry Keepers Club of Ireland

• Birds may only be entered in 1 class
• The show grounds will be open to exhibitors from 7am on the morning of the show.
• All birds must be penned by 11.00 am sharp. Judging commences at 12 noon.
• Where there are more than 6 birds, a class they may be separated by sex, colour or breed
• It is condition of entry that no bird may be removed before 4pm on Sunday. Birds can be removed from 4pm and removed by 5pm. Organisers accept no responsibility for birds after this time . 
• Classes may be amalgamated where there are insufficient entries
• Birds showing signs of illness will be removed by Health Steward with no refund of fees 
• It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to enter all exhibits in the correct class
• The breed name, and sex for each exhibit must be given on the entry form
• No food or water placed in cage prior to judging
• Judges decision is final

Egg entries can be taken on the morning of the show at an added fee of 0.50 cent.
